Lead Designer Profile

Christina Brown has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida in Landscape and Nursery Management. She focused her studies in interior foliage plants, annual color, and landscape design. While in college she worked for Initial Tropical Plants in Gainesville, Florida as a plant technician and completed two internships: one specializing in interiorscapes for Nancy Carlisle Interior Plantings in Concord, New Hampshire and one focusing on annual color rotations for OneSource Landscaping at the Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Florida. To start her professional career, she returned to OneSource at the Grand Cypress as the project manager for landscaping for two years. Then she concentrated her efforts in interiorscape design and maintenance for many prestigious properties in Orlando as the Interiorscape Maintenance Department Manager for Greenery Productions for the next three years. She is now living her lifelong dream of owning her own horticulturally based company.

Gaylin Kircher started her career in the floral industry in New Jersey in 1988. While in New Jersey she learned every aspect of the business by taking on the roles of delivery driver, designer, bookkeeper, and manager. She has extensive experience in all types of floral design in both unique and traditional styles for weddings, parties, birthdays, funerals, and everyday arrangements. She has served as designer/manager in 3 shops locally in Florida and has been with Roses Are Red since 2005. She enjoys using her creative talents to design arrangements customized for the client to make their occasions memorable. Gaylin is an indispensable part of our team at Roses are Red.
